When filling an entry form for a race can you make sure your name is written very clearly and in exactly the same way for every race (e.g. always Andy and not sometimes Andrew). Data entry mistakes are very hard to correct after the event as the results information is propagated to many places (often within a few hours of the race finishing).
Results for last nights Ragleth race are available here. This was the last in the summer series and prizes were awarded for that as well last night. Well done Mel Price and John Taylor. Final results for the series will be posted later.
Just to point this out to any of you that didn't already know: Mercia, Maldwyn AC and Wales International Andy Davies competed in the Commonwealth Games marathon on Sunday 27th July. Andy had the honour of opening Wales' campaign in the athletics at Glasgow 2014 and finished 17th of 27 with a fantastic run just a minute outside of his PB. This is no mean achievement considering his previous best was on a flatter course with pacemakers at Manchester earlier in the year.
Results so far, after 6 races, for the summer series are available here.
Results for todays (rather warm) Bridges or Bust race is available here.
The race was won by a large margin (4 minutes) by John Gilbert of Kent AC from London. Here on holiday John? Very well done. Next up was Paul Jones of Mercia, fresh back from sky running in Europe someplace. Mel Price was first lady, but not far behind was Emma Gould, watch out Mel!
