7pm meet at the cattle grid in Carding Mill Valley this week.
This week's session is a 7pm meet at Rectory Field.
The Lee Mill Fell Relays was a new event last year. It's at Bacup, north of Manchester. The format is 4 identical solo legs of 10km each. We have already entered four teams of four and there's lots more interest. If you missed out on the UKA Relays due to the shortage of team entries, or you are running in the UKA event but fancy a fun day out with a party atmosphere then this is the event for you. This week's session is a 7pm meet at the campsite in Little Stretton.
The relays are being held on Pendle Hill at Barley on Saturday 17th October. Unfortunately the venue does not apparently have capacity to accommodate more than 150 teams. For comparison there were over 200 at all of the last three events. The politics of how this has happened are beyond us - we've asked for an explanation of the process but none has been forthcoming either from the Mountain Running Committee of UKA (which decides on the venue) or the FRA.
