20th UKA British Fell and Hill Relay 2008 - YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU

This year the FRA Relays are to be held locally in the Clwydian Hills on Sunday the 19th October. They will be based at Llangynhafal in Denbighshire, which for most Mercians is quite accessible. There are four legs to the Relay, 2 solo legs and 2 pairs'  legs, some legs are partially marked and they vary in length from 5.5 miles to 9 miles. All the routes are covered by OS map Explorer Clywdian Range.

No running involved but thought I'd mention this as it's in Mercialand (well, Radnor anway). Anyone at a loose end and fancying a wander up a nice heathery hill, please get in touch.

5 Peaks Challenge, The Final Chapter

The last I hear everyone had made it up Carrantuohill, Ireland's highest peak via the Devils Ladder Route and at 11:00pm last night they where all down the  pup drinking the local brew either that or fast asleep in the corner after another epic trip, we'll done everyone concerned and safe journey home today, I'm sure a full report will follow on the adventure of the weekend
