I’d like to keep a list of everyone who is First Aid qualified to assist RO’s to plan where to put you when you volunteer to marshal and assist at races. Also this will enable me to plan when courses are required to keep you in ticket. As before Mercia is happy to cover costs for First Aid courses providing the favour is returned by helping out at Mercia events.
Results for the 2020 edition of the Mercia Hill Trial are available here.
The 34th Trig race went without the drama of last year’s “lost” runners and avoided the forecast very heavy rain. Maybe the forecast put a few off as numbers were well down. Nonetheless 103 starters, and 100 finishers, had a very muddy day on the Chase. The course was shortened by about a mile to avoid forest work and mountain bikers, but no one complained. This also shortened by a bit the time the ever-willing Marshalls (thanks to all again) were back a bit sooner as well.
This article appeared in the local press (Express and Star). Nice piccy, but reports wrong results! Can you believe the press?
