Renewed interest this winter has seen a successful round from Nicola Richards, Dave Farrow, Mark Pearson and Jared Forte (BHSD) on Saturday 22nd December 2018 and an attempt in very thick mist from Mel Price and Virgil Barton (Barlick FR) the following day.

LONGMYND VALLEYS RACE - *** 11:00 *** on Sunday 10th February

Entries are now open for the Longmynd Valleys Race - the classic Shropshire Fell Race. It’s a race of two parts with much fast running in the first seven miles gradually transforming into longer, steeper climbs and brutal descents. You'll need previous experience of fell running in poor conditions, and if the clouds are down you may need to be able to navigate effectively in low or zero visibility.
